Police squad car responding to call strikes unconscious person in northeastern Indiana

BERNE, Ind. — One person was injured Saturday, April 11 when a police car responding to a call struck an unconscious person who was in the roadway in northeastern Indiana.

According to Indiana State Police, it happened around 10:45 p.m. on Hendricks Street near Wind Ridge Trail, which is just east of U.S. 27 in Adams County. Berne is about 120 miles northeast of downtown Indianapolis.
