First Alert Forecast: Wet Saturday morning before cooler temperatures take over through the rest of the weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Showers and an isolated thunderstorm will continue throughout the rest of the morning as a cold front pushes through. A few pockets of heavy rain and gusty winds are possible, but we will not have to deal with severe weather. As the front pushes through, temperatures will plummet, from the 60s early this morning down into the 40s and 50s for the rest of the weekend.

Sunday will also feature an isolated chance for one more rain shower briefly in the afternoon, but most of the day should remain dry. Cooler temperatures stick around for the weekend as lows will fall into the 30s and highs on Sunday and Monday stay in the 50s…
