ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) – A 56-year-old New Haven man accused of molesting an 8-year-old girl took a plea deal on Tuesday.
Donald Koithahn was initially charged with three felonies in connection with the alleged child sexual abuse, including two counts of child molesting, which altogether carry a potential sentence of up to 92 years in prison.
He is pleading guilty to one of the child molesting charges, as well as another sex crime charge, in exchange for a 25-year sentencing cap. The second child molesting charge will be dismissed at sentencing if Allen Superior Court Judge David Zent accepts the agreement…
