MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) – A 50-year-old Fort Wayne man who died while in custody at the Miami Correctional Facility died by homicide, the Miami County coroner says.
Indiana State Police said Shawn L. Booker died on April 4 while in custody at the prison. No further details about his death were shared at the time as police said they were awaiting the release of Booker’s autopsy report.
