FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A chain restaurant closed the doors of its Fort Wayne location permanently.
On Tuesday, Smokey Bones at Jefferson Pointe posted a flyer in the window stating that the restaurant’s Fort Wayne location has closed permanently.
The restaurant chain’s parent company, Twin Hospitality Group, announced in 2025 its intentions to ‘optimize’ its Smokey Bones locations by converting 19 locations into Twin Peaks lodges and closing 15 ‘underperforming’ locations.
In January 2026, Twin Hospitality Group filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, but did not formally announce any additional closures of its Smokey Bones franchise…
