Columbia City shakes off slow start to top Snider in sectional opener

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Columbia City boys volleyball earned their 20th win of the season in a four-set win over Snider (20-25, 25-16, 25-15, 25-22) to open sectional play on Tuesday.

The Eagles (20-5) advance to Thursday’s sectional quarterfinal against SAC champion Northrop. Meanwhile, Snider ends their season with a 14-10 record.

Carroll also won their first-round sectional matchup with a three-game sweep over DeKalb in the early game at Snider. The Chargers will face Woodlan on Thursday, with that match beginning at 5:30 p.m…
