Firefighters respond to 2-alarm fire at a church in Arlington

Arlington firefighters were called Tuesday afternoon after a fire was seen coming from the roof of a one-story church, officials say.

According to the Arlington Fire Department, they were called to the fire at about 1:50 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in the 2000 block of New York Avenue.
