Jury deliberations underway Monday in the trial of Johnson County Sheriff Adam King.

JOHNSON COUNTY, Texas — After nearly two weeks of testimony, jurors began deliberating Monday afternoon in the trial of Adam King, who is charged with retaliating against his former second-in-command after allegations of sexual harassment surfaced.

Adam King is the re-elected Sheriff in Johnson County, Texas, serving as the highest law enforcement official.

A visiting judge prohibited cameras from the courtroom and eventually ruled that no cameras would be allowed in the courthouse at all during the trial. During King’s pretrial hearings, media news cameras often followed him and his wife from the parking lot to the courtroom doors…
