Grapevine (KDAF) — GrapeFest, the Southwest’s largest wine festival, returns to Historic Main Street in Grapevine Sept. 17-20th to celebrate its 40th anniversary with four days of wine, live entertainment and family-friendly activities.
Presented by Bank of the West, this year’s festival is themed “Connecting Wine Traditions, One Glass at a Time” and highlights the growth of Texas’ wine industry since the event began in 1987. What started as a one-day festival featuring six Texas wineries now attracts about 250,000 visitors each year.
Festival favorites include the People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic, the nation’s largest consumer-judged wine competition featuring only Texas wines, along with wine seminars, the annual GrapeStomp competition, live music, artisan vendors and a KidZone…
