Alleged registered nurse imposter reported in Wichita Falls, Jacksboro

WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — The Texas Board of Nursing has warned citizens of a woman accused of posing as a registered nurse and practicing in two Texoma cities.

Jessica Renee Judd was named in the “Imposter Warning” section of the January 2024 edition of the quarterly Texas Board of Nursing Bulletin , a newsletter published every three months.

According to the publication, Judd also goes by Jessica Morse, Jessica Fogelson, Jessica R. Judd, Renee Judd, and Jessica Judd.

The publication said that Jud secured employment and practiced as a registered nurse at a hospital in Wichita Falls from June 1, 2020, through January 26, 2021, by using the license number belonging to another nurse with the same name.

Officials with the Texas Board of Nursing said during this time, Judd provided skilled nursing care to patients and represented herself as a registered nurse to staff, patients, families, physicians, and the public while using the credentials of “RN” on medical and business records.
