ARLINGTON, Texas – An assault suspect has been arrested after leading police on a chase from Mesquite to Fort Worth Thursday morning, police said. A little before 9:30 a.m., Mesquite police said they got a call from someone saying they had been assaulted by someone they knew in the 4800 block of Eastover Drive. When officers arrived, they said suspect got in his car and took off.
