Coppell junior Jakie Fuerte has always been around fitness. Her parents have been into fitness for as long as she can remember. Her father, Juan Garcia, played soccer when he was younger and has always been an avid weightlifter. Her brothers also lift weights. Her older brother, Damian Lopez, was a regional qualifier for Coppell High’s powerlifting team at 114 pounds this season.
