FBI searches for man who brought child to Fort Worth bank robbery

The FBI is searching for a man who brought a child when he robbed a Fort Worth bank early this month.

The robbery took place on June 6 at the First Convenience Bank inside a Walmart on Anderson Boulevard in East Fort Worth, according to the FBI.

The department said a man approached the bank teller counter while pushing a shopping cart with a child seated in it. He then handed the teller a note demanding cash.

The man received the cash — the FBI did not say how much — and walked out of the store carrying the child.

The man is 35-45 years old, between 5 feet, 7 inches, and 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with a thin build, the FBI said. He was last seen wearing a baseball hat, black sunglasses, a multi-color fishing shirt, khaki-colored shorts, and Hey Dude shoes.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the FBI Dallas office at 9972-559-5000. Anonymous tips can be submitted at tips.fbi.gov.
