Texas cities rank top 10 in quickest, cheapest commute research says

We talk all the time about the commute to and from the office and how rough it is for everyone.

But, the Dallas-Fort Worth area has it easier than other areas.

Researchers from Lyft asked, “what makes a great commute?” A quarter say that time is the most important followed by consistency with 19%, and cost 13%.

ABC then complied research following this data that shows Columbus, Ohio has the best score when it comes to quickest commutes. El Paso is second, and Dallas finished 10th overall.

When it comes to the cost, Texas did pretty well. Houston and Dallas finished in the top 5 for cheapest commutes. Fort Worth has one of the fastest commutes, where drivers average around 27 miles per hour, during rush hours.
