Lewisville High School lockdown lifted after threat of ‘armed subject’ determined not credible

Lewisville High School was on lockdown Thursday morning because of a report of an “armed person” near the school.

After about an hour, that lockdown was lifted and the threat was determined to be ‘not credible’ according to the school.

Lewisville PD was on the scene and so far, police say there was no armed person seen.

LHS says the school will resume for the remainder of the day as staff and students are safe. However, if any parents wish to pick up their student, they can do so by using the north side parking lot and going through the Auditorium. School officials ask for patience as it’s still a busy scene on campus.
