The Battle of the Badges is back in Lewisville with police and fire department teams going head-to-head for charity. This softball tournament isn’t just a chance for first responders to showcase their athletic prowess, it’s a show of community spirit with a philanthropic twist. Taking place on Saturday, October 12, at Lewisville Railroad Park, the 21st annual installment is expected to draw teams from across North Texas, all competing for a good cause. Each team will bat for their favorite 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with the first-place team securing a $750 donation and the second-place team earning $500 for their chosen charity, according to the City of Lewisville.
