A house exploded in Tarrant County Thursday afternoon, injuring two workers.
According to the Tarrant County Fire Marshall, they were at the house on South Water Tower Road in Saginaw spraying lacquer when it exploded and then caught fire.
“Spaying lacquer created a flammable atmosphere,” said Interim Tarrant County Fire Marshal David Butler. “It got an ignition source somewhere.”
Both workers have burns on their head, face, and arms and were transported by MedStar to Parkland Health Hospital.
Firefighters from Haslet, Lake Worth, Saginaw, and Fort Worth all responded to the explosion.
