DESOTO, Texas – A video went viral on Instagram showing DeSoto police fatally shooting a 26-year-old man on the front lawn of a house on Friday morning. In a statement from the DeSoto Police Department, officials said they were called at about 10:39 a.m. Friday by the man, Arthur Lee Armstrong Jr., who reportedly said he had several weapons and wanted to harm police.
