12 new Fort Worth restaurants to try: Sunday buffets, BBQ and a burger-and-beer patio

A burger-and-beer patio with a twist leads a long list of new Fort Worth restaurants in 2025, along with Sunday buffets matching Mediterranean and Mexican food in the Cultural District.

Crystal Springs Hideaway , a laid-back hangout for everything from cheeseburgers to charcuterie, has officially opened to a packed parking lot near the West Fork of the Trinity River at 113 Roberts Cut Off Road.

Crystal Springs is like one of those haircuts described as “business in the front, party in the back.”

More like “wine party in the front, beer party in the back.” A wine and cheese shop in front sells everything you need for a picnic outside under the trees.

Or go out back and order from Big Kat Burgers , operating the burger counter in a complex with two bars, lots of shade and plenty of character.

It’s open for lunch and dinner daily except Monday; crystalspringshideaway.com .
