Four top city staffers ended the year with performance-based pay increases in their wallets.
In their final meeting of 2024, Fort Worth City Council members approved pay adjustments for the four staff positions they are in charge of hiring: city manager, city secretary, city attorney and city auditor.
Outgoing City Manager David Cooke, set to retire in February, will receive a one-time payment of 5% of his annual salary of $412,061.69, to be paid on or before Feb. 1.
