Texas & Oklahoma Winter Storm Warning: Up to 7 Inches of Snow by 9 PM Saturday

Amarillo, TX – A winter storm warning remains in effect for parts of the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles through 9 p.m. Saturday, with heavy snowfall expected to impact travel and daily activities.

According to the National Weather Service in Amarillo, snow accumulations between 5 and 7 inches are anticipated across Cimarron County in Oklahoma, as well as Dallam, Hartley, Moore, and Sherman counties in Texas. The storm will begin Friday evening at 6 p.m. and continue through Saturday night.

Hazardous road conditions, particularly on bridges and overpasses, are likely to develop.
