You’ll have to accept the fact that someone does BBQ better than you. I thought I had enjoyed BBQ before I moved to Texas, and then I moved here and tried the brisket. I don’t know what it is about Texas BBQ, but no matter where you go in the Lone Star State, it’s fantastic. I say this as a person who came from Kansas City.
You also have to accept that everything under the Good Lord’s sun is a competitive sport. It doesn’t matter what it is. In the Lone Star State, we compete at it and find out who’s the best.
