The Fort Worth dining scene is getting a fresh burst of timeless cool, thanks to the vision of three accomplished restauranters. Jeff Payne, Jason Cross, and Michael Duff are opening The Mont, a brand-new fine dining concept, in the DFW this spring, reports Eater Dallas.
The restaurant, which aims to capture the classic elegance of the 50’s and 60’s, will be making its debut at 3729 Saint Amand Circle. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that work began on the 5,314 square foot space in June of last year. While a precise opening date isn’t available, Payne, Cross, and Duff expect to begin serving guests in April or May of this year.
The trio bring a wealth of experience to the project; Payne and Cross own Cousin’s BBQ and Chef Duff cut his teeth at Eddie V’s. The Mont’s cuisine will highlight traditional dishes that utilize fresh seasonal ingredients.
