Veteran Family Brings Greek Flavors to Fort Worth with New Restaurant

There’s an old saying that food brings people together, and if that’s true, then Cliff Bowling and his sons, Daniel and Patrick, are setting the table for something special in Fort Worth. The trio of military veterans — Cliff served over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, while Patrick and Daniel followed suit with eight years in the Air Force and ten years in the Navy, respectively — have traded in their uniforms for aprons, opening their second location of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill at the Shops at Chisholm Trail, according to a release.

The 2,200-square-foot fast-casual eatery, located at 9654 Red Dirt Road, marks the latest expansion for the Bowling family, who introduced Fort Worth to the brand last year with their first location in Crestwood. Their mission? To provide locals with a healthier, flavor-packed alternative to the usual grab-and-go fare.

“As a family, we really enjoy interacting with the community and bringing people together over a delicious meal,” said Cliff Bowling. “We’re excited to expand The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill footprint throughout Fort Worth so we can introduce healthier options to locals and change the way guests see fast-casual dining.”…
