City leaders, residents urge state regulators to deny concrete batch plant near Lake Worth

Northwest Fort Worth residents and city officials are protesting plans to build a concrete batch plant near Lake Worth.

Proposed industrial development is nothing new to people living near the lake who successfully fought a proposal to build a landfill on Silver Creek Road last year. Now, residents are asking the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to deny an air quality permit to Raptor Ready Mix Inc.
