Fort Worth man arrested for evading arrest, drug possession

WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — A Fort Worth man was arrested on several charges after a brief chase on Monday morning.

Nicholas Adam Martinez of Fort Worth was charged with evading in a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and a warrant for harassment.

According to a DPS spokesperson, Sgt. Juan Guiterrez, a trooper with the Texas Highway Patrol, attempted to stop Martinez at the US 287 near the Little Wichita River. Martinez did not stop but kept driving at 60 to 75 miles per hour and threw something out of his vehicle on the overpass in Jolly…
