The scam involves individuals masquerading as employees of the Fort Worth Water Utility, claiming they need to inspect alleged water leaks inside residences. According to the City of Fort Worth, such incidents occurred in the Llano Springs area, with at least one imposter wearing clothing featuring the City logo.
