Fort Worth celebrates seniors ready to join workforce at Where Achievement Begins event

Ceddedric Felton stood inside the lobby of Casa Mañana Theatre — fresh off being crowned North Crowley High School’s prom king — and described his day job: Cutting hair.

Not just at home. Or a barber shop. But at school.

“I’m going to be the first one in the program to graduate with his (barber) license,” Felton said. “I can work in Fort Worth or up in Denton. And I’ve got connections from cutting hair at school.”…
