Fort Worth Celebrates Diversity with Record Attendance at Third Annual Unified Dance

The Fort Worth community sparkled with diversity and unity at the third annual Unified Dance, held on April 11 at Como Community Center. Organized by the Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department and the Fort Worth ISD, the disco-themed event welcomed over 400 participants, making it the most attended in its history. According to a City of Fort Worth report, attendees, including general education and special education students alongside their families, indulged in an evening filled with dancing, music, and various activities tailored to ensure an inclusive and overwhelming free environment.

The sensory-friendly dance, designed to be accessible for all, featured a deejay and yard games, with pizza and face painting adding to the festive ambience.
