Anyone who has visited Margie’s, the long-running Italian spot in far west Fort Worth whose roots stretch back to the 1950s, over the past few years most definitely won’t recognize the place.
“Is it going to be like the old Margie’s, yes,” co-owner Gigi Howell of Westland Hospitality posted in a video on Facebook, days before the restaurant’s grand reopening a few weeks ago. “It will be like the old Margie’s, but the old Margie’s opened in 1953.
