HURST, Texas — North Texas firefighters rescued a worker on Monday who fell into a trench on a construction site.
According to the Hurst Fire Department, crews responded to a construction site at L.D. Bell High School, where a 34-year-old man was hit by a bucket and fell into a 17-foot-deep trench box. A trench box is a metal barrier used on construction sites to prevent trenches from collapsing.
