VIDEO: White Settlement and Wichita Falls Police Aided by Federal Agencies in Arrest of Man Charged With Possession of Explosive Devices

Last week, the White Settlement Police Department (WSPD) concluded a significant operation with the arrest of Tino Napoleon Ross, age 33. Ross was apprehended last Wednesday, in collaboration with the Wichita Falls Police Department. The suspect was released from a Wichita Falls facility before being taken into custody and is now facing numerous charges, including possession of prohibited weapons and resisting arrest, as per the White Settlement Police Department.

Ross, the incident stemming from last Thanksgiving, is accused of harboring explosive devices with intentions that have alarmed authorities. Details from the WSPD indicate that the suspect was plotting an attack against a relative’s home in White Settlement, as well as researching potential targets across neighboring cities. The charges laid against Ross are severe, with three counts of possession of prohibited weapons as 3rd degree felonies and additional misdemeanors for carrying multiple firearms and resisting arrest. Notably, the ATF has placed a federal hold on Ross, which precludes any possibility of bond.

The investigation into Ross’s activities involved multiple agencies. The ATF issued a search warrant at the suspect’s Oklahoma residence, leading to the seizure of materials used for manufacturing the improvised explosive devices. This partnership has been critical, and according to the WSPD, the ATF is looking into a more comprehensive federal review that may lay the groundwork for further charges.
