Strong to severe storms remain in the forecast through Thursday

A series of storm chances are expected over the next seven days, with some potentially becoming severe.

We are currently experiencing a mostly cloudy sky with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 60s. A dying small area of storms is being monitored southwest of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, which should dissipate by mid-morning as it approaches the I-35W corridor north of Interstate 20. However, additional storm chances are forecasted for this afternoon and evening as our next disturbance impacts the weather.

The greatest risk for large hail and damaging winds will be just west and south of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, although one or two warnings cannot be ruled out for areas north of Interstate 20. Storms should begin to subside by midnight, with afternoon highs reaching the low to mid-80s…
