Southlake church aims to serve Christian Hispanic’s faith, community needs with new ministry

Jesús Molina and his wife, Lili Molina, still remember the prayer they made to God when the Venezuelan couple moved to the U.S. eight years ago.

“God, if you take me from my country … we want to serve the people, the community,” Jesús Molina said, recalling his message.

Now, the couple’s prayers are becoming a reality in their roles as pastors of La Mesa Bilingual Ministry, an extension of White’s Chapel Methodist Church in Southlake. With a new $2.6 million building expected to come to Fort Worth’s Stop Six and Polytechnic Heights neighborhoods in 2026, the ministry aims to be a community resource for Spanish-speaking families, Molina said…
