Tarrant County man dies after being mauled by three dogs in backyard

A Tarrant County man died Monday after being attacked by three dogs that entered his backyard while he was doing yardwork, according to the sheriff’s office. The victim, identified as 82-year-old Ronald Grant Anderson, managed to make it back inside his home before collapsing. He was pronounced dead just before 4:30 p.m.

Investigators say the dogs came through a hole in the fence and are believed to belong to a neighbor. Animal control officers have taken all three dogs into custody while the investigation continues.
