(Mix 93-1) As a child of the 80s, the arcade was just a part of my life. Now, it appears that one well-known brand associated with children is looking to revive the arcade experience.
Why Arcades Are Making a Comeback
As a teen, I would visit the arcade nearly weekly at Forum 303 Mall and Six Flags Mall in Arlington, Texas, to play Donkey Kong, Mortal Kombat, Frogger, Defender, Space Invaders, Q*Bert, Spy Hunter, Centipede, and so many others, including the icons, Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man!
One of my first jobs was working at Six Flags Over Texas, and there I got to work in the arcades and the big Skee Ball Palace, where you played games to earn tickets to redeem for prizes.
Knowing this now, you can see how the news of arcades opening up across the nation excites me!
