A DFW burger institution is preparing to breathe new life into a retired fire station. Jakes Burgers, an East Dallas native, is bringing a delicious menu that features more than just the titular dish to the building that housed the Saginaw Fire Station, reports Culture Map Dallas.
According to a press release concerning the restaurant’s opening, the 400 South Saginaw Boulevard establishment will feature a prominent outdoor section. Described as “an activated ‘backyard’ area”, ownership is hopeful it will “foster community engagement, offering a welcoming space for gatherings, outdoor entertainment, and casual dining.”
Courtney Lindley, the Founder and President of MAD Concepts Group, believes this feature will further help Jakes achieve its greater ambition; he states: “People visit restaurants for great food, but they return for the service and the experience. We take pride not only in our menu but also in the environments we create. The backyard area in Saginaw will serve as a vibrant community hub, bringing people together beyond the dining table.”…
