Become a Code Ranger and help keep Fort Worth safe and vibrant

Did you know that Fort Worth has a way for residents to help foster healthy neighborhoods? Introducing Code Rangers. In partnership with the Code Compliance Department, Code Rangers are trained volunteers who report suspected code violations, allowing the city to respond quickly and proactively. Think — hall monitors, but for all of Fort Worth. When a Code Ranger reports a potential violation, the city reacts by sending a courtesy letter to property owners or residents to inform them of the suspected issue. Code Rangers must attend a training course at the Hazel Harvey Peace Center for Neighborhoods, located at 818 Missouri Ave.
