Some tenants allowed to move out, others still waiting weeks after Fort Worth apartment fire

Six weeks have passed since a fire tore through The Cooper Apartments in Fort Worth, displacing hundreds of people.

Over the weekend, some residents were finally allowed inside to salvage items. But others remain in limbo or fear they’ll never be allowed back inside, despite their apartment escaping the flames.

Resident Jonah Harrison was finally allowed back in Saturday to pack up his remaining belongings and move out. His unit in Building 2 of The Cooper apartments was spared the worst of the damage…
