2 arrested, 7 stolen vehicles recovered in North Texas auto theft ring, officials say

DALLAS — Two men were arrested and and at least seven vehicles were recovered that had been reported stolen in connection with an auto theft ring spanning several North Texas cities, police say.

Officials served search warrants Aug. 28 in the 2700 block of Kenesaw Drive in Dallas and two locations in Barry in Navarro County, according to Dallas police.

During the search. officers found four vehicles in Dallas that’d been reported stolen, and another three vehicles in Barry that’d been reported stolen in Dallas, DeSoto, and Lewisville, police said. Two other vehicles with blurred VIN numbers were also seized for further investigation, officials say…
