Southwest Fort Worth park’s wildlife rebounding after pond restoration

A southwest Fort Worth park is seeing more critters make themselves at home after the natural area underwent water quality and wildlife habitation restoration.

The Park & Recreation Department and the Transportation & Public Works Stormwater Management Program partnered on the project beginning in July to increase water capacity at Foster Park’s three ponds through dredging, the city said in an Oct. 9 news release.
