In a recent operation by the DeSoto Police Department, Maverick James Stephens, a 29-year-old Waxahachie resident, was arrested on suspicion of multiple vehicle burglaries. The events unfolded last Wednesday, when officers responded to a burglary call around 11:10 p.m. in a local business’s parking lot on the North IH-35E Service Road. According to the DeSoto Police Department, the caller described the suspect as a white male with facial tattoos who fled the location, leaving an idling gray Nissan Altima behind.
