The South Main area, once devoid of hotels, is suddenly seeing activity in the hospitality space.
The latest are plans for a Canvas Hotel at 419 S. Main St. at the intersection of East Peter Smith Street. The six-story hotel will be about 113,000 square feet with 180 guest rooms, according to plans filed with the city.
