GameStop says it logged its largest trade-in payout in history after a customer brought a rare, high-grade Pokémon card to a North Texas store this week.
According to a statement released Monday, the customer visited a GameStop in Grapevine on Dec. 1 and traded in a PSA-graded 10 Holo Gengar card. The rating denotes top-tier condition and can dramatically increase a collectible’s value. GameStop said the card carried a market valuation of $33,883.
