Person stabbed after argument over flat tire outside Grapevine furniture store, officials say

GRAPEVINE, Texas — One person was stabbed early Sunday after an argument over a flat tire outside a Grapevine furniture store, officials say.

The incident happened shortly after 4 a.m. after two men pulled into the parking lot of the Ashley Furniture store in the 3300 block of Grapevine Mills Parkway because the driver had hit a curb, leading to a flat tire, police say.

The men began to argue, and the driver, identified as Shawn Michael Scott, produced a knife and allegedly stabbed the other man in the rib cage, officials say.
