Fort Worth, Texas – Unseasonably warm weather will continue across North and Central Texas through the weekend, with record or near-record temperatures possible on Christmas Day, before a strong cold front brings a dramatic cooldown late Sunday into Monday.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, high temperatures on Christmas Day are expected to reach the lower 80s across much of the region, including Dallas–Fort Worth, Waco, Sherman, Denison, Palestine, and Killeen. Forecast highs include 82 degrees at DFW, 83 in Waco, and upper 70s to low 80s elsewhere, placing several locations near or at daily record levels…
