Houston man sentenced to over seven years for ATM robbery

DALLAS, Texas — A Houston man has been sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison for his involvement in a “jugging” robbery targeting an ATM technician, announced United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Ryan Raybould. Corey Dashun Holloway, 30, of Houston, Texas, pled guilty to interference with commerce by robbery for the July 3, 2024, incident.

Holloway was sentenced to 87 months in federal prison by United States Senior District Judge David Godbey. He is the third defendant sentenced in this case, according to a press release from the United States Attorney’s Office. Holloway, along with Johnny Juwan Clark, Tierra Toneisha Brandyberg, and Roosevelt Ford Valentine, were linked to the “Hiram Clarke Money Team,” a Houston-based criminal organization known for “jugging” style robberies.

Court documents reveal that Holloway traveled from Houston to the Dallas metroplex with the intent to commit robbery. On July 3, 2024, he followed an ATM technician to multiple locations before robbing him at a Chase Bank in Midlothian, Texas.
