SHERMAN, Texas — A Dallas man was sentenced to six-and-a-half years in prison Monday after pleading guilty to robbing two convenience stores in November 2023, officials say.
According to the Eastern District of Texas United State’s Attorney’s Office, 20-year-old Victor Heredia was sentenced to 78 months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of Hobbs Act Robbery on Monday.
Officials say, according to information shown in court, Heredia robbed two 7-Eleven convenience stores in Carrollton over the course of Nov. 6 and Nov. 7, 2023. Both robberies were at gunpoint, with Heredia firing the gun into the store’s ceiling during the first robbery…
