The groom known for his viral 2023 Parisian nuptials — dubbed the “wedding of the century” — has pleaded guilty to a North Texas shooting.

Jacob LaGrone, 31, pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated assault of a public servant after shooting a firearm at three North Texas police officers in March 2023, and was granted deferred adjudication and placed on probation for seven years, according to Jan. 7 court documents obtained by Dallas News, WFAA and the Star-Telegram.

Tarrant County D.A. Phil Sorrells told PEOPLE in a statement that “justice was achieved” with LaGrone’s guilty pleas.

“Our office carefully evaluated the facts, the evidence, and the likely trial outcomes before reaching this resolution,” Sorrells said. “We support the officers involved and remain grateful that none were physically injured.”…
