Just as 2025 came to a close, Dallas-based M Crowd Restaurant Group — the team behind Mi Cocina and other concepts — announced that it had acquired Razzoo’s Cajun Cafe.
Razzoo’s was founded in 1991 in Dallas and operated nearly two dozen locations in Texas, Oklahoma, and North Carolina before filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last fall.
Under the acquisition, 11 Razzoo’s restaurants remain open. Ten are in Texas, with the majority situated around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and one near Houston, plus one in Concord, North Carolina…
